6 month smile success stories1

Patient: Mindy

Age: Mid 20’s
Occupation: Teacher

Chief Complaint: Crowding/Crooked Teeth

Treatment Time: 6 months

The following is Mindy’s testimonial regarding her Six Month Smiles experience:

My teeth always bothered me. I fell off of my bike when I was a toddler, and my two front teeth started to overlap. It got worse as I grew, my adult teeth came in, and my front teeth at the top and at the bottom were both very overlapped.

It always bothered me because it was right there in the front; I’m a teacher, and I’m talking to people all the time. I always like to smile, but it was embarrassing to have my teeth crooked, especially in the front.

I definitely felt self-conscious, and I didn’t like pictures of me where I was actually smiling, because people could see that the teeth were crooked. I think that it bothered me more than anyone else, but it was definitely an issue of being self-conscious.

I heard an ad for Six Month Smiles, and I decided that I would just go and see what it was all about and check it out. When I went for the consultation it was just what I had hoped. It was short, which was the most important for me, and it was also doable as far as the price.

Looking back on it being done now I can say that it was so much quicker than I thought it would be. They got them on, the process began, and by the time I had just started to get to know everyone at the office it was done and they were off. Now I’m really happy about my smile.

I was nervous, I don’t like dental work, but it was so much easier than I anticipated it being. From putting them on, to the tightening, to the adjustments, nothing was uncomfortable. I didn’t feel like I was nervous to go to the dentist and I am always nervous to go to the dentist.

It was a good experience. I feel like I’m more confident, I smile more, I smile bigger, and I’m more conscious of my smile. Sometimes I don’t even recognize myself when I look in the mirror, I think that’s not my smile, but it is.
